1 in 3 women have had a miscarriage including myself. In North Carolina and across the country, women have been forced to bleed out, become infertile, have their lives threatened including in ER bathrooms from their miscarriages.
Over the past 24 years, multiple studies have shown that the safety of mifepristone combined with misoprostol as the standard of care for miscarriages particularly in reducing surgery, increasing future fertility and decreased patient suffering.
But apparently these politicians and religious zealots think they know more than reproductive scientists and doctors and want to eliminate this drug.
As part of criminalizing pregnancy, women are being punished for simply having a miscarriage in these 18 states.
Trump has also stated he would ban this drug if president again.
